About WorkinGames
WorkinGames was created to make it easier to discover game development jobs across studios of all sizes.
I’m Oscar, a game developer based in Sweden. While working in the industry, I noticed how fragmented and inconsistent game job listings can be. Many opportunities are buried across studio websites, applicant tracking systems, and social media.
WorkinGames aims to provide a cleaner and more structured way to browse game development roles without the noise.
What This Site Is (And Isn’t)
WorkinGames is an independent project and is not affiliated with the listed studios unless explicitly stated.
All job listings link directly to official studio pages. This site does not represent employers and does not act as a recruitment agency.
Why I Built It
After my internship, I struggled to find a clear overview of available roles. I started building a prototype to help myself discover more studios and opportunities. I realized that many game development jobs never appear on traditional job boards. While LinkedIn allows you to follow studios, it still doesn’t provide a complete picture of what’s out there. I hope to provide a centralized hub that makes it easier for job seekers to find their next opportunity in game development.
This project is built and maintained independently, with a focus on clarity, transparency, and usefulness for the game development community.
