Junior Game Designer
About This Role
Responsibilities Define how the player interacts with the world (movement, combat, puzzles, etc.) and write clear documentation for the dev team. Create 3D layouts that guide the player naturally, manage pacing, and highlight the game’s core mechanics. Manage spreadsheets for game economy, character stats, and difficulty curves to ensure a polished experience. Work within the engine to "greybox" levels and test gameplay loops before the art team begins their pass. Work daily with our Illustrators and Animators to ensure the visual feedback matches the mechanical intent.
Extra Details: Economy of Design- You know how to make a game feel "big" using a small number of highly polished mechanics. Basic Scripting- (Bonus) Knowledge of Blueprints to help implement simple logic without waiting for a dedicated programmer.
