Senior Game Programmer – C# Developer

This is a full-time position in Lisbon – Portugal. As a Senior Game Programmer, you will collaborate with the company’s engineers and artists to ensure consistent performance and quality for our products.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or similar;
• Minimum of 2 professional games published;
• Minimum of 3 years working in the video game industry;
• Experience in developing with UNITY (minimum required level – advanced);
• Knowledge in ANGULAR / REACT (minimum required level – intermediate);
• Advanced understanding of object-oriented programming (C#, Javascript);
• Proficient use of standard algorithms and container libraries;
• Proven ability to design and implement a system from scratch;
• Proven ability to debug other people’s code;
• Advanced understanding of the language’s internals (inheritance, virtual functions, operator overloading, templates, etc.);
• Deep understanding of multi-threaded programming;
• Deep understanding of memory management;
• Knowledge of compilers and linkers;
• Knowledge of code performance and proven ability to optimize it;
• knowledge of the trade-off between code maintenance and cost;
• Knowledge of Agile & Scrum methodology.

DESIRABLE:

• Solid communication skills;
• Console programming experience;
• PASSION IN CREATING GAMES and game services.

YOUR FUNCTIONS:

• Assume the role of Lead Developer;
• Work closely with the design team turning ideas into features and services;
• Plan and implement game features;
• Write high-quality code and test it in the game;
• Develop processes, technologies, and tools with high technical rigor.
