Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure our game maintains high quality and follows the original direction. Continuously review outsourced projects and deal with unexpected issues. Join the QA process when necessary.
• Optimize the product. Connect our team with the project group and ensure the team’s efficiency and quality of the project.
• Analyze the department’s overall demand for QA. Give early warnings regarding difficulties and risks in testing, and offer proposals for improving the QA team’s efficiency.
• Be familiar with and follow up the operation flow, train testers, participate in the overall process of the project, and make sure it meets the deadlines in each stage.
• Facilitate the development of test tools.

Requirements

• Familiarity with a minimum of one development or scripting language, e.g. C++, C, Python, Lua, etc.
• Familiarity with the principle of mainstream operating systems (Windows, Linux, Android, iOS) as well as network protocol. Experience in the special tests of front/back end performance, security, automation, etc.
• 5+ years of QA experience, 2+ years of managerial experience.
• Quickly familiarize yourself with the project and process through quick intellect, clear logic, excellent communication skills, up-to-standard professionalism, and good team spirit.
• Experience with Unreal Engine is preferred.
• Experience with AAA game projects is preferred.
• Ability to understand the implementation of programs on code level, put forward test plans, analyze influencing areas, and follow-up questions.
